Mitch Produced by Rudi Goblen This song was named after the late comedian Mitch Hedberg who has a sound bite at the end of the song. Rudi originally named the beat (Mitch Print) and it stuck with me. A friend of mine had recently put me on to Mitch Hedberg before I heard the beat and I instantly liked it so we laced something on it for the fuck of it. ----------------- Hello, the kid with shelltoes is back with a swell flow/ dirt under his fingernails and grease on his elbows/ dropout homie, peace when the bell blows/ you are not a complete idiot/ you know the kid starving is serious/ spit with sharpened experience/ swig of the flask pull of the cig kid/ get on the horn in a flash and signal the ass/ Get it! i like the look of getting my swirve on in the direction im headed/ son of a catholic girl/ and the son of a son born in a tragic world/ cause life is pretty/ put this shit on your i-pod and let the people enjoy what im spitting/ say hello if you know where im sitting fact/ say goodnight if you know where im getting at/ chaos bitch/ let the dust settle then play our shit/ before the fuzz let metal just slay our kids/ the people know best/ people protest/ tear the city down then rebuild it with the gold left!!

Park Bench Narratives feat. Akin (CYNE) and Seven Star Produced by Enoch (CYNE) This was done around the time I was recording Third World Prophecies and it just never made the album. I’m glad I’m getting a chance to put it out now cause with a collaboration like this, for those of you who are fans of Seven Star and/or CYNE, it’s a mustfuckwitable. --------- Hook: When I sit down these thoughts come to mind/ Memories come a live/ Bring forth a past time/ I’m not thinking bout this or that really/ Just this and that shit to make you act silly. Akin verse: like remember when / the beat had us surrendering / the realest vibes and scribes emcees had to render in / five fingers grips mics tight with adrenaline / i'mma try to take y'all there once again peace to enoch / when the beat knock you gotta rock it / mic check one,two nah fuck that rock it / the pen's davy crockett / the page is frontiere / with scores of metaphors for war they all fear / any emcee want it with I / he must wanna die a thousand deaths like a coward / similar to Howard / i'm stern but no money to burn / just the mic y'all / i dislike y'all for real / phony emcess Akin will ridicule for a meal / cuz i'm hungry / hunger for more/ hunger for war / rap sucker emcees come knock on my door / just bring it rhymes, lyrics, slang,no gimmicks /emcees they go flee yo they so timid / i'm not borderline i'm a pro in this, i'm a pro in this business what Soarse Poken verse: Hey yo, welcome to my audible achems razor blade/ They say the way I labor on paper may save the day/ So Soarse, how you feeling today? Shitty/ But I’ll will it away/ And benefits aplenty to those willing to stay with me/ And under this old sun I’d rather sit lonesome/ Trying to add my problems but coming up with no sum/ Life is wholesome though/ God and I ride in the same time zone son so somebody let me hold some dough/ But for now im trapped getting taxed in an office/ My coffins cheap You killing me pal/ To minimize cost and maximize profit people often cheat/ Wanna off them peep/ You feelin me now? Hip-hop socialism revealing to me how we move it/ Cause our current social condition isn’t how we movin’/ Game point/ Point taken, taking aim join/ Me in uncovering both sides of same coin/ My country is under attack and I take great buffalo pride in them plains boy/ Still taking over, ain’t nothing changed boy/ Fuck it/ Love it or leave it/ Cause life is like this and righteousness gives me something to believe in/ Twisted and so what? I’m so lifted my soul wants to escape/ Let’s hate on the latin kid rapping cause he’s less fake/ Dude, let’s make right on your next mistake/ A person with so much on his mind is one you never underestimate/ Seven Star verse: Just take a second. Cop a seat right on this bench. Watch the herd pass you by fixated on nonsense. They move so fast with out a past trying to outlast their self imposed masks. Worker bees with Jack in their thermoses and flasks, but they don't know why these feelings keep arising in their hearts. Depressed no matter how much they fill up their shopping carts. They can't help you when they're down or they'll be late and their bosses will frown. A man has a heart attack and no one reacts. God frowns, but God is just a character that they forgot was there. Sinners run the world and no one cares about the devils affairs. As long as the money's there no one will share. Elephants, Donkeys and bears. He's a whale, she's a whale blowing hot air up everyone's derriere. The rest are ants under they evil eyes up there. Watching our every move looking for those who don't fit in the group they fashioned for those with out a clue. And here they are right in front of you what will you do. Following wallow in capitalism mire, worship sires, pyramid schemes, are you for hire? Will you wear their attire? Will you go with the flow of poison rushing to the heart of our society? Or will you analyze the situation, lose your composure and patience with the politics and priests of piety?

Shameless Plug Produced by Climber This was another song that I wrote around the same time as the previous and I can’t believe didn’t make the album but I’m glad I’m sharing now. Always like spitting to these guys' beats and this was no exception. -------- Verse 1: It’s a piece of cake/ reap the benefits when it gets hard then you gotta release the hate/ seems to make men wanna make men die/ then god takes em’ by the hand and makes em’ cry/ lays them by their loved ones/ after what the trajectory path of a slug done/ your subconscious went up some/ when doves come… peace to they that believed the great/ were granted with great beats to rape/ got cheese to make/ pay me, got fee’s to pay/ cease the day/ he’s the way they want him to be to play/ with my bonita applebum/ taking shots of apple rum/ I bang beats with a dope sample.. some/ Don’t gamble them, I do/ If it’s betting I’m addicted/ And I’m betting im a dick with it like… true/ 2 live crew/ earthworx and climber blazing the booth like oooooohhhhh Hook x2: Shameless plug/ Heart wrench when cupid shot it down with an aimless love/ You got it now?/ It’s like that you know it’s like that/ I blazed it first now you never get the mic back. Verse 2: Another man dies/ Fly jam, sly guy/ Here’s another chance for you t get your hands high/ And I’m thinking about not drinking a lot/ Then drinking and thinking about why I was thinking about not drinking a lot/ Then thinking I got problems/ But the only way to solve em’ was by not drinking a drop/ Addicted to sneakers and good fire/ But I could tell the difference between a thief and a good liar/ Got the hood wired I’m listening in/ That’s why I know you’d rather listen to me than listen to them/ Keep your ears open, the streets do/ We need to feed the people/ Believe you can turn a stone into beef stew/ In conclusion, use your illusion 2/ These other rappes are usually losing you/ Let em’ hate/ Alcoholics don’t give a fuck ima ask god where the booze is at when I get to heavens gate/ Hook x2: Shameless plug/ Heart wrench when cupid shot it down with an aimless love/ You got it now?/ It’s like that you know it’s like that/ I blazed it first now you never get the mic back. Verse 3: It’s the same shit/ Blame game minus the shame bitch/ All rappers got provided the same niche/ Surprise, lies and envy/ They make false promises and poison the lives of many/ Hide your pennies the thief is back/ He makes sense when he raps provided the beats is fat/ Cease the day peace/ Peep the way he makes moves stay true to game eeeasy/ I’m calling the beast to play, see mee? It’s like that!!

Friday Night Fearless (original) Produced by Epstein I always liked the jazzy feel of this song. Once I heard this beat I knew I had to do something over it. Unfortunately, once I finished the track Roberto Lange had already released it on a project he put out. At the end I ended up using a different beat for the song on TWP and it worked out alright cause Deviant (Who remixes “The Long Walk” on this EP) killed that shit. --------- Verse 1: Seems like… the last perfect day/ Is it worth it? Hey, I was given a purpose… stay/ No regrets so we gets vibin’/ Music with less violence/ I love music and after sex is the best silence/ I told her, she walked away, turned her head, decided to flirt and left smiling/ Let her hips sway/ hey, let her in my fifth day/ Cause It’s Friday baby, the music led her this way/ Got her? Forget her if she don’t wanna holler back/ The day is too short to get hot under the collar/ Under the pale moonlight, creativity blooms like/ I write tunes intended on getting my mood right/ And clear all obstacles/ And celebrate, how bout a hand for the man that made it all possible? Some try and fail/ some succeed when it comes time/ Aint no mountain high enough to keep me from watching my sunshine. Bridge 1(x2): I got next/ My regrets become my forgets/ And I’m ready to go cause I’m live with this/ Verse 2: Ask why/ Don’t let em’ get the last laugh/ I say we toast, we supposed to be foes so get your glass high/ Friday night fearless/ feel this and/ My people gonna survive so let em hear this/ Let the madness die/ Cause when the planets collide/ True wisdom will have no man stand at its side/ And that is why… there’s sacrifice/ And as long as there’s food clothing and shelter then I’m satisfied/ There’s a DJ tonight and he’s spinning the right music/ Is there a problem with plugging the mics up? (the crowd might lose it)/ I say hey, I got something to say/ It might be positive and the crowd might use it/ Let the vinyl play/ Before we get ready to go make sure I’m correct it’s the final phase/ Freshly dipped/ That boom bap gets me lit/ I got a date with hip-hop and I hope that bitch let’s me rip/ The night’s new/ Type smooth/ All I need is a bottle of bailey’s a cup and some ice cubes/ A bright moon/ A female with the right moves/ But intelligent too and putting her mind to right use/ Bright views/ Chasing that dream/ Still we all ride through this just chasing that cream/ It’s simple/ There’s a difference between the quality of shit when you spend dough and the quality of life from the shit that you’ve been through. Bridge 2 Verse 3: It’s the way it is in the south/ Figure it out/ Before you disrespect your health takes the rigorous rout/ life is bigger than now/ And ima sit back relax till the liquor is out/ No more funny cigarette clouds/ Light it right/ Why they write so fucking positive and still stay live on a Friday night/ Because we can/ And while the earth works we make it worthwhile for ya’ll punks to keep it live on the weekend. Outro.

Skip to My Lou Produced by El Chavo (Barcelona) This was the second song I did with my good friend Chavo from Spain. The first one is one of my top favorite songs and it’s called “Esperando” and gets a remix on this EP by another good friend of mine. This was supposed to come out on a compilation a while back but never saw the light of day… here it is kids. ------- Verse 1: Son of a bitch, skip to my lou yes/ Got no gun on my hip but you gotta get hip to my rudeness/ Pleasure and pain is what this music is being abused with/ What they use to pressure the brain/ Same shit with what they use to measure the fame/ Prometheus, rap version, and I hold treasure the flame/ So, say my name , say my name/ Everybody singing the same tune regretting the day I came/ Yo! Let’s leave it alone now/ Don’t want nobody believing you’re beefing with the kid who sold Jesus a poem.. wow/ I’m so so fresh/ g-shock, fitted hat to the side and a polo vest/ plus the flow’s so def/ better hold you’re breath/ hold your dame tight cause I’m letting her know I’m only a go for sex/ I’m only a ho for sex/ Asking if I sold my soul for a check? Said you better protect that homo neck/ Hook x 2: It’s only a problem if you make it so/ I told my people I got em’ so I’m gonna make it go/ Go for broke and a naked soul/ Flow so cold fuck making it rain I’m gonna make it snow/ Verse 2: It’s the boogie down/ But not the Bronx bomber with a hoodie down/ The latin king with a goodie crown/ But not the gang or the rap crew playa please/ Damn I could rap good while I slay a beat/ Chavo play the streets/ Let em’ taste the beats/ it takes to let em’ taste a piece of when the flavor speaks/ that flavor it seems is/ like the part in a flick when the good guy dies, my favorite scene kid/ empty headed with a hollow point pen/ but I’m wide awake letting Apollo join in/ feel that pain when that same pen follows those trends/ and you get swallowed whole friend/ it’s just what the doctor ordered/ revolution with a big ass gun and the cops are cornered/ sit back with a glass of jack and a box of vinyl tunes/ while I plot my final move Hook x 2: It’s only a problem if you make it so/ I told my people I got em’ so I’m gonna make it go/ Go for broke and a naked soul/ Flow so cold fuck making it rain I’m gonna make it snow/

Take It Down feat. Kin Keezy Produced by Dj Raff This was a song that was so spontaneous and felt so right. My dude Raff sent me the beat from Chile and once I heard it, I knew I wanted to get the homie Kin Keezy on it. I sent it to him and within minutes he had the hook and within a few days he sent me his verse and I was blown away (no surprise, dude is a beast). I layed my shit down with proper inspiration and sent it to Raff. It was supposed to drop on his album but I guess didn’t make the cut. Glad I’m getting to put it out now. Joint is a fucking banger! ------- Hook x2: We’re not a target market/ We’re not starving artists/ We’re not part of this/ We’re only here to take it down/ We’re not heartless, godless monsters Marching to a dead drum, come/ Let’s take it down/ Kin Keezy verse: We’re the masters of the universe/ Last of the unicorn/ Spawned from a crass pack/ Laugh at your funeral/ Death can’t touch this, head like a holy war/ Crunk in a 4 door/ Bump through the floor board/ Cloud dance wing tip, southern hospitality/ Hold it with a mean grip, momma would be proud of me/ Life flower blazing on an old raider starter coat Real fucking country, born out past where marta goes/ Broke like curses/ Hex of the hexagram/ 9 in my right 45. In my second hand/ you want the bar raised? We fucking raised it/ along with hell and the roof now we gonna rain in/ this aint a subculture cult double feature/ elitist scene posers with gold that hold heaters/ I dropped the beef and went vegan in 98’/ But we’ll still take it down if my people are at steak/ Hook x2: We’re not a target market/ We’re not starving artists/ We’re not part of this/ We’re only here to take it down/ We’re not heartless, godless monsters Marching to a dead drum, come/ Let’s take it down/ Soarse Spoken verse: We're the gansters of the beautiful/ bastards of the suitable/ last of the fat cats/ blast at your musical/ Dirty rotten bottom with the impact of a cadi grill/ Finger fuck your dame trying to get up in her daddy's will/ Trunk rattle snake moan/ utilize the same poem/ life is only precious when I'm keeping her in safe mode/ Face facts..hey/ chasing death around a race track/ just one drink to loosen up get this party jumping asap/ Party rap survival kit/ vital to the rifle spit/ meant to fuel the rage of a fucking suicidal kid/ True funk/ bump it up a notch/ fist full of dollars leave it to these two punks to crunk it up alot/ raised up in a gutters ditch/ god save us in her mothership/ somebody save the kids before they end up on some other shit/ pagan poetry punk and my pistol's near and we'll still take it down if my people ain't cristal clear! Hook x2: We’re not a target market/ We’re not starving artists/ We’re not part of this/ We’re only here to take it down/ We’re not heartless, godless monsters Marching to a dead drum, come/ Let’s take it down/

Esperando (Mike Deuce Remix) Fucking around online I sent my homie Mike Deuce the acapella to one of my favorite joints and within minutes he sent me back this gem. It worked so perfectly that I had to put it out now. Enjoy. -------- Verse 1: Let the depths of a casket soothe him/ Every step I take seems like a counteractive movement/ My life lacks improvement/ She’s a bitch with her pants sagging, just an inch from the band wagon/ Her damn bragging got sobriety trying to be lying to me but it can’t happen/ Cause her bi-polar bitching got me letting her pass me by like an asteroid in the pharcyde of my solar system/ Listen, I’ll trade her for the world/ A poacher with his cold shoulder risen offers major for the girl/ But would I? Bless her whole essence and would the question rest her soul? Lesson… it was never told/ But if silence is golden this treasure would’ve left the desert cold and the stars would’ve faded so/ Keep a secret cause there’s no telling if my heart would’ve made it/ But apart from the stated something’s are better left unsaid/ Better yet/ You better bet her all you got and act like you never bet one cent/ Check it, rep some sense/ Cause she is life dog and her anger takes place during a red sunset. Verse 2: She was maybe made on a lazy rainy day cause she’s a crazy dame/ And if death’s payback for living, given the circumstance, I’ll hold her accountable for that and let her pay me late/ Perfect/ Don’t underestimate the work of a wordsmith/ All that pain was worth the same of her first kiss/ Divine math/ Love her in fitted thought with her fine ass/ Keeps me intoxicated with her essence in a wine glass/ Shopping for compliments and a rotten casket/ Makes up for years lost and a newly forgotten past kid/ She is life, give life like pleasure in skin/ Her texture is in/ Trendsetter better measured in sin/ How many nights waiting in the dark? days rocked/ Pick my poem apart and place it in a heart shaped box/ A weakling speaking of something wrong/ Nothing but leaking assumptions gone/ Send me an angel with an answer on… Why hip-hop sucks and why I’ll have to come up with a dance for this song/ If not, the video won’t sell units/ It’s a pity though man cause you’re marketing schemes just don’t sell humans/

The Long Walk Rmx (Seven Star feat. Soarse Spoken) Produced by Deviant This was already a banger when we first did it over a Climber beat, then I heard this remix AFTER it was released on Seven's Trojan Horse project (Vinyl release only). Deviant did a spectacular job of remixing this song. --------- Soarse Spoken verse: Spit kicker tour ticket holder, fan of hip-hop/ In search of a disc jock who’s quick with the switches (soldier)/ A beautiful day/ walking down the street on my search beautiful dames stare/ Plus I got suitable game, there/ Spliff lit, headphones on with a backpack strapped/ Heard this climber joint, threw it on repeat with a track that fat/ Then shorty, who back yard bang like thunder, back tracked that/ Lisa ended up giving me her number/ One fan says I killed the summer with one jam/ I thought, backed when I killed the hunger with one chance/ Funny though/ Still hungry so/ Corporate America doesn’t wanna hire a kid with some bummy clothes/ But got dough for some pizza/ Call up Lisa/ It was nice to meet ya/ I’d like to take you to the crib so I could beat ya/ But not like ike/ gotta go though shorty, I gotta go find a DJ so I could rock mics right/ On with my search heard a cipher starting with lighters sparking/ Stepped up, I might be the cat with the tighter offering/ Street bound/ Asked if anyone had technique 1200’s while I kicked the shit out the beast with a freestyle/ No reply/ So I jet while this kid kicks a rhyme bout his 45/ I kick rhymes bout my stories live/ Live it and write it/ They spit it and hide it/ But don’t wanna be somewhere where my spirit isn’t invited/ So I dipped first left/ Steady sidewalk pimpin’ with a limp third step/ Up to the spot where her and him first met/ She is hip-hop he is disc jock/ Strolled through the park where they first lip-locked/ But no dice, no sight of my searches purpose/ My man shift scooped me up though the search was worthless. Seven Star verse: The sun sets and orange photon skies create a moment that can change a persons life. An evening breeze rushes by like the last bit of light turns to night. Waiting for the bus I start to write. A poem, a verse or some axiom to puncture the universe. The bus arrives and departs. I was caught up in the art. Caught up by a spark of intuition. I remained seated bringing it to fruition. I jotted down. I wrote on and on. You wouldn't believe some of the lines in this song. I couldn't see anything but the rhyme. I was so caught up by the moment I lost track of time, missing the last bus line, but all was just fine.. The moon still shined. I cracked a smile thinking it's only a couple of miles till I get to the crib. Quoting verses from tracks like when I used to be a kid. Except the tracks are mine on who I am and how I live. I stopped at the store, bought a blunt and rolled a fat one by the pay phone. Sparked it for the long way home. Now everything is hazy. My eyes are low, my eyes are lazy. Mad thoughts run through my mind like "When will rap pay me?". I came up with another line like "This industry enslaves me and pays me nothing to parade me". Now I'm sitting on the curb. I must be crazy. Line after line, trying hook after hook. I was divine inspiration all over my notebook. I pull the spliff out, light it up and blaze a bit. Ready to write another scrip when Soarse and Shift pull up like "Let me hit that shit"!*
