Take It Down feat. Kin Keezy
Produced by Dj Raff
This was a song that was so spontaneous and felt so right. My dude Raff sent me the beat from Chile and once I heard it, I knew I wanted to get the homie Kin Keezy on it. I sent it to him and within minutes he had the hook and within a few days he sent me his verse and I was blown away (no surprise, dude is a beast). I layed my shit down with proper inspiration and sent it to Raff. It was supposed to drop on his album but I guess didn’t make the cut.
Glad I’m getting to put it out now. Joint is a fucking banger!

Hook x2:
We’re not a target market/
We’re not starving artists/
We’re not part of this/
We’re only here to take it down/
We’re not heartless, godless monsters
Marching to a dead drum, come/
Let’s take it down/
Kin Keezy verse:
We’re the masters of the universe/
Last of the unicorn/
Spawned from a crass pack/
Laugh at your funeral/
Death can’t touch this, head like a holy war/
Crunk in a 4 door/
Bump through the floor board/
Cloud dance wing tip, southern hospitality/
Hold it with a mean grip, momma would be proud of me/
Life flower blazing on an old raider starter coat
Real fucking country, born out past where marta goes/
Broke like curses/
Hex of the hexagram/
9 in my right 45. In my second hand/
you want the bar raised? We fucking raised it/
along with hell and the roof now we gonna rain in/
this aint a subculture cult double feature/
elitist scene posers with gold that hold heaters/
I dropped the beef and went vegan in 98’/
But we’ll still take it down if my people are at steak/
